Chemical Peels

What are Chemical Peels?

Chemical peels are a type of non-invasive cosmetic treatment used to improve the appearance and texture of the skin. The treatment involves applying a mixture of acids and enzymes that target the superficial to medium depths of the skin, causing the outermost layer to peel away, revealing new, smoother skin underneath.

Our medical grade treatment targets fine lines/wrinkles, redness, brightens, photo damage, pigmentation, and acne. This happens by exfoliating the skin and encouraging the regeneration of collagen.

There are several types of chemical peels, ranging from mild to deep. Mild chemical peels, or Superficial peels, are used to treat minor skin imperfections such as acne, uneven skin tone, and fine lines, while deeper peels are used to treat more severe skin concerns such as wrinkles, sun damage, and scars.

Superficial peels generally only give a flaky appearance post-peel for a few days, while medium peels can make you physically peel from 5-10 days post-treatment.

The treatment can be performed on various areas of the body, including the face, neck, and hands, and can be customized to meet the individual needs and preferences.

Treatment Benefits

  1. Reduces the Appearance of Fine Lines and Wrinkles
One of the primary benefits of chemical peels is their ability to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The treatment works by stimulating collagen production, which helps to plump up the skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

  2. Improves Skin Tone and Texture
Chemical peels can also help to improve the overall tone and texture of the skin. The treatment can help to reduce the appearance of acne, sun damage, and age spots, while also smoothing out rough patches and uneven skin texture.

  3. Non-Invasive Treatment
Chemical peels are a non-invasive treatment, meaning that there are no incisions or sutures required. There is little to no downtime associated with the procedure.

  4. Customizable Treatment
Treatment can be customized to meet the individual needs and preferences. Different types of peels can be used to target specific skin concerns, and the strength and duration of the treatment can be adjusted to achieve the desired results.

  5. Quick and Convenient
Chemical peels are a quick and convenient treatment that can be completed in a matter of minutes. You can typically resume your normal activities immediately after the treatment, with only minor redness or peeling at the treatment site.

"I struggled to find someone to do a TCA peel and managed to find Becky. I have had 3 prior TCA peels so knew what to expect. She was professional, knew exactly how long it would take and what I needed to expect. She checked in on me to see how it was going which I really appreciated. I highly recommend Becky!!"
